We at Your Jewish Speech are experienced speech writers and educators, and between us we have a number of BA’s and MA’s and decades of experience in learning, lecturing and teaching a variety of Jewish texts and topics. We have written numerous articles, speeches, Divrei Torah and have given lectures in several communities and institutions world-wide.
Debbie Last: I am American by birth, lived in Canada and England and finally realized a life-long dream when I moved to Israel four years ago. I have four grown sons who were raised in England and I now have daughters-in-law and granddaughters, too. Besides being a speech consultant, I am a psychotherapist and therapeutic horse-riding instructor and I even have my own Palomino horse named Kesem. For many years I learned and taught Jewish texts and as a speech writing consultant I get to combine this passion with my other passion which is … people! I love working with people to find and express their feelings and connect it to our Jewish heritage.
Tali Tarlow : I am mom to 3 girls and a boy, and wife to Daniel. I was born in South Africa, I lived in England, I’m now based in Israel and I work for my clients from all over the world! I am a writer and an educator, and my favorite niche is speech writing, I love working with my clients in a partnership, and helping them to make their occasion really special and memorable. Aviva Blumstein: I came to speechwriting after 10+ years in education, writing and translation. With a B.Ed. in Judaic Studies, and a background in teaching, I know every child is a world of her own. But there’s no better way to see it than to help parents express their feelings about how special their child is.
